I had just moved to Chicago and found myself overwhelmed at the large dating pool but felt determined to find love. I kept seeing another pair of eyes in front of me, persevering through each boring date. The repeating arpeggiator emulated how the dates became monotonous, giving me a new type of anxiety than that of waiting for a reply. This is all reflected in the chaos of the production, overwhelming the listener.
