I was always enamored with Kassandra of Troy, gifted with the power of prophecy, but cursed to never have her visions believed. I resonated with her story and used it to describe my experience waiting for my calls for romantic interaction to be heard. I felt something so true in my heart and was trying to make it a reality, driving myself crazy as the walls of my mind’s city collapsed around me when he wouldn’t listen to my calls. I think there’s beauty in tragedy, allowing yourself to grow from whatever destruction you endured.
